Many parents are reluctant to enroll their children in the schools in their community. They feel that the schools are overcrowded and that their children will be neglected. The thought of taking their five year old child to a school where they might not get enough attention is frightening. Children are so vulnerable at this age, and they will leave them with an adult that they do not really know. Their small children will mix with many other children not of their choosing. Their children will get their education in these schools as well as many of their social skills.
Hopefully these parents will find some comfort in knowing that they have alternatives to enrolling their children in the local schools. There are programs that provide instruction starting with home school preschool. There are great programs for the elementary grades, middle school and high school. A parent can start their child with a home school preschool program and later enroll them in a program to get a high school diploma. The interest in home school programs has increased the choices that parents have for the education of their children.
