Home schooling ones children is an uncharted adventure; sometimes the adventure brings great pleasure and limitless fun and achievements. Other moments can be fraught with worry, uncertainty and downright despair. Someone who has never taught children before might be shocked by just how many times a concept have got to be taught and repeated in order for most children to retain the idea. If you are considering educating your child by yourself, that is called home schooling. In many situations, home schools versus public schools is a debate that has many different angles. You might be shocked to learn that there are many people who are both for and against home schooling.

The Debate

When it comes to home schools versus public schools, the biggest issue of debate is that of socialization. People fear that children who are in home schools are not getting the kind of socialization that kids in public schools are, and this is detrimental to their growth.
