Classical Home Schooling

Home schooling is being practiced by so many people for so many different reasons that there no longer exists a classical home schooling method; however, in the early days home schooling was probably started by religious communities who did not allow their children to have contact with the outside world; this was known as classical home schooling.

Such communities still exist today and their classical home schooling is a lot different than the home schooling recognized by law in the US. Their beliefs and ways of teaching do not comply with any manual or standard of teaching.

Such communities believe that the child should be allowed to choose his/her own learning without any particular guidance from an adult; the child's inclination or skills will lead his/her to what he/she will do in their lives. That was considered classical home schooling.
